Imposter syndrome is a phenomenon that occurs when a person feels intimidated by the thought of applying themselves in a field involving their passion due to lack of experience. Many feel that they aren’t skilled enough to pursue their passion as a career. Everyone has a talent, but not everyone will reach their full potential because they are tied to occupations that simply do not challenge their creativity. It’s also what transforms passions into hobbies. It is easy to become complacent when you’re cruising along in a comfort zone. In fact, only about 20% of Americans admit to feeling a true connection to their role in the workforce. Rather, it speaks to how secure they feel with their jobs. However, that number doesn’t tell you what percentage of people are actually passionate about what they do for a living. Studies consistently show that approximately 65% of Americans are satisfied with their current job. And, while hobbies also bring joy, they usually don’t allow you to apply your creative capabilities in a professional setting. If you like something but you’re able to pick it up and put it down at will, that’s a hobby. While some are more practical than others, passions aren’t meant to be put on the back burner. Nothing gets in our way when it comes to pursuing our passions which brings us to the real question: What are you doing to follow your passion? ![]() When it comes to your passion, every challenge becomes an opportunity to improve as opposed to an obstacle to be overcome. Passions bring joy and offer a sense of purpose. When someone is passionate about something, they yearn to perform that task with every waking hour. Its definitely a documentary that, if you are aspiring to be a musician and love playing music you will enjoy it to its full potential, but even as person with no musical talent will still enjoy as well. ![]() The characters and stories really do attach you to screen, you become very intrigued and interested in everything that everyone has to say. The documentary contains some sad stories of pain, hurt and death, but the places they go and the characters they meet really do give you a sense of joy and happiness as they tell you their stories. This documentary is fun, it's interesting and it almost gives you a different perspective on life as they meet people who don't care about living it big, or making something of themselves, people that only care for making good music. They find unique locations to record their music from, one song each destination. The story of two failed musicians who road trip in an RV through America, finding quirky, colorful characters to collaborate with for their third album, which will probably never be heard. ![]()
